Hand in Hand

 

 One of the best parts about gardening is the harvesting. It's such an awesome feeling to be able to walk into your garden and come out with food for your meals.  Certain things, like peas, you can harvest fairly soon after planting. Peas are an easy crop and prefer cooler weather. Great for spring and fall. Zucchini are easy to grow and can be prolific producers.  Carrots grow well and can actually stay in the ground after freezing weather has started. Not all your harvests will be loads of veggies, and that is okay. Sometimes, you might just be picking enough for dinner one night.
